When hurricane Katrina decimated the Gulf coast region, and most of our nation’s resources were focused on saving animals affected by the storm, we decided we wanted to do something to help companion animals locally in Minnesota. We have been fostering animals in need and volunteering with Second Chance Animal Rescue for the past 15+ years. It is a wonderful organization whose mission is to provide homeless dogs and cats with a Second Chance at life and companionship.
